Announcing Good AI's investment in Serve Robotics
A friendly, autonomous robot that delivers your food
Meet Serve, the future of sustainable, self-driving delivery
"Wireless phones, horseless carriages, driverless cars—we name things after what's removed! Without a horse, carriages evolved into sedans, semi-trucks, ATVs, Ferraris, Ducatis... Without drivers, cars too will evolve into new forms of mobility, most of which we have yet to think of."
These are the first words uttered by Ali Kashani when he was pitching Serve Robotics to us. Instead of touting Serve's advanced deep learning technologies, or how quickly they have achieved impressive unit economics within a short period of time after deployment, Ali was sharing with us his vision of urban mobility.
This is a world where autonomous delivery robots could reduce our dependency on automobiles, potentially leading to a great reduction in carbon footprint as well as a much improved urban accessibility.
With much cheaper and more reliable deliveries, Serve also aims to make this service accessible to every part of our community, and help revitalize the local economy that is so hard-hit by the pandemic.
With a deep desire to tackling some of the most challenging problems faced across industries, Ali exemplifies the type of mission-driven founders we back.
With that, we are so excited to announce our latest investment in Serve Robotics
Co-investing with Uber, Ali Partovi ( Neo, Code.org ), Cyan Banister, and many other luminaries investors, Good AI is so proud that we can play a part in Serve's mission of transforming urban mobility.
