Boiler Up!
Distinguished Science Alumni Award at Purdue
"Purdue is more than just a school. To me, Purdue is the place that has shaped who I am today. It has helped develop my outlook on life. These values are the foundation for the paths I have taken. Everything I have accomplished, whether it is my career success or my family, I owed it to Purdue"
As I made these remarks during Purdue's Distinguished Science Awards ceremony, I can't be more proud and honored.
Purdue's impact started when I first arrived at the campus as an international student from Hong Kong. The community at Purdue, be it the faculty, my classmates, and my friends from church, has welcomed and accepted me. Because of such support, I was able to thrive and did very well at school. With the rigorous training in computer science, I was able to launch into a career in technology, entrepreneurship, and ultimately venture capital investment.
I am forever indebted to Purdue. Boiler Up!
